Dr. Jerry is, hands down, the best vet in Rockingham County. He is very thorough, extremely kind, and morally honest! Although we are new to his practice, he has a very loyal (4-legged) patient parent base.
I love Dr. Brandon Haymore. He does so well with my dogs and since he's a show and breeder person as well, knows where I'm coming from. But they need to get some better people in the front. The one lady that's been there forever is wonderful! But the new ones need to get a clue. My puppy threw up his Heartgard on the way home today and I sent my dad down to get another since I had to work. They sold him something completely different, not what I had written for him, and definitely not anything ANY of my dogs have ever taken (tho they said it was in my record). I hope the new people get up to speed soon because this is very annoying and I don't want to have to change vets.
I think the vets and the young ladies that help them are very nice and helpful. However the older women that run the front desk and phones can be very rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. There have been three situations this year where myself or a family member has had a terrible visit with Eden Vet. All three times the front desk lady was rude and treated them or me disrespectfully. They sent me to my car with my dog and rudely told me to stay outside because my dog supposedly had parvo (with absolutely no symptoms). They kept my grandmother's cat that was sick in a cage for the entire day before saying they just didn't have time. My brother was charged $750 for a boarding visit after they said "by the way your dog has Lyme disease" when he arrived to pick his dogs up. They never called him once to inform him of his dog being sick. So from now on my family will no longer be attending this vet. But like I said before the vets themselves are great and should look to finding better office help!! :)
