My brother whom just got out of the hospital was given a prescription that was not his and had been taking it for 2 days. Me and my father had noticed him acting very different. He had showed up at my house at 3:30 in the morning. He was pacing the floors, at a very fast pace, he was sweating uncontrollably and he wasn't making any since and he was paranoid . I called my dad very upset telling him we gotta take him back to the hospital bc he was worse than he was before. Well my dad assured me, we just needed to be patient and give his medicine a chance to work. Well I had dropped my script of adderall and requested a refill on my other meds,the same time I dropped his off. I told the young lady i would get mine after work and my dad would be by in a few to get my brothers. When i had picked mine up, I assumed it was correct. When i got home i seen I was missing my adderall, but the pharmacy had already closed, so now I had been off my meds for two days already. So i go after work the following day to get my meds after work. They told me I had picked it up yesterday and I told them no bc she left it out. So the pharmacist came to the window and showed me the transaction. It had I had paid $15 and picked up 3 scripts which was not correct, I got tired of trying to explain it was a mistake and left went home with out my meds bc they where refusing to give me mine and kept insisting they had proof I had picked them up. I went home and printed my bank statement to show proof I had only payed $5 .The pharmacist stated he knew what had happen and they mistakenly gave only my adderall to someone else. That someone else was my sick brother who had been in the hospital. The pharmacist said my brother had been prescribed adderall at one point and made it out to be just a little mistake. I was told I would have to go hunt my medicine down bc he was not going to fill mine even thou he had mistakenly giving it to someone else. I requested my prescription back so I could fill it somewhere else,which I was denied. I go to my brothers and hes still acting out of the normal bc he had been taking my medicine they had give him and he didnt know any better, bc hes sick!!!!!!!! Now we have to take him back bc we dont know what to do nor do we know how to handle him! I will consult with my options bc this is
