The beds were a little to hard for my liking but it was clean. The room did have an odor to it when we walked in but wife carries air freshner with her so that helped. Desk clerk was friendly when we checked in.
Great place...will definitely stay again and its pet friendly...walking distance to walmart..ruby tuesdays...pizza hut...and food lion...Popeyes and several other places to eat...if you like to walk...staff is very friendly..ashley was the best that works there.
Absolutely the WORST lodging in Rockingham County as of recently. New management has completely RUINED this hotel. Extremely rude & judgemental staff not to mention over priced!
My family and I were originally from Eden, NC. This past spring we moved to FL. After several months away, we decided to come into Eden for weekend visit. We called ahead of time to book our reservations. We were told the motel only had a king size bed room available because sports teams were coming in at the same time. We checked another motel and they too were booked but only had a king size room. They were much higher in pricing. After discussing the situation with our family, our daughter said she would stay with a friend and my hubby and I could enjoy the room alone since there was only one bed. I hated she couldnt be with us, but it was best under the circumstances. We called Baymont back and reserved our room. We were told our room would be ready at 3pm. Once we got within an hour's distance, we seen it was hours before checkin. I called and spoke to Nicole. She was an excellent listener and understood how exhausted we were from our 10 1/2 hr drive through the night before. She asked if she could do some checking on early availibilty with the cleaning crew and call us back. Within minutes she called back saying they would have our room ready when we arrived. The cleaning crew worked hard to accommodate us in the mist of preparing all the other rooms for soccer teams coming in. Impressive! Our room was very clean, spacious and met our request. After we had about 15 minutes to settle in, Nicole called to make sure we were pleased with our room. Liked the follow up! We had a well rested evening. The next day, I saw the soccer teams packing up to head out. I went to the main office to see about availibilty with 2 beds in another room. LaDonna too was a great listener of our needs. She could tell how I really wanted to have my daughter back with us at night. So she talked with the cleaning crew again. They accommodated our needs as before in a very timely manner. LaDonna made sure the room switch went smoothly as well at the front desk. Enjoyed the variety of breakfast items. Everything was fresh and a very clean environment. Hats off to ALL the staff!! Excellent teamwork & communication. We will definitely consider staying here on our next trip through Eden.
I would like to know how they consider a microwave and fridge a kitchen though.
It was a great stay but i would like for my bed to be changed atleast every other day
